Zapier can be used in several ways and for several reasons. One of its uses includes transferring data between apps.
We can also make use of Zapier to transfer the information of the leads collected through various Growth99+ forms present on our website to any other apps we want.
Here are the steps!
Step - 1
For transferring data through Zapier, the first step you need to do is create a Zapier account if you don't have one.
Step - 2
After creating the Zapier account, go to
https://parser.zapier.com/ and click on login. Then choose the "Log in with your Zapier account" option.
Step - 3
After the successful login, you will see the below screen; click on the "Create Mailbox" option there.
Step - 4
If you see the below screen, click on the "Skip waiting" option.
Step - 5
You will be redirected to the below page. There you need to create the parser email address in the box shown below. Remember this must be a unique word or random combination of letters. Remember, you want this hard to guess!
Step - 6
Here comes "Initial Template:". There you need to add the template with the data you want to extract like below.
There you need to highlight and name the text that you want to extract from future emails matching the template. For that, you need to double-click on the data, and a box will pop up. There you need to add the names accordingly and save it.
It will appear like the below after you complete adding names to all the data you want to extract.
Step - 7
Now, click on the "Save Address and Template" button as shown below.
Now, all emails sent to the mailbox will now be parsed and extracted. Data will be saved and accessible on your dashboard!
Step - 8
Now, you need to add your parser email address to your G99+ account. For that, log in to your G99+ account and click on "Form Builder".
Now, open each form or the selected forms you want to transfer the leads from and follow the process below.
Click on the "Notification" tab.
Click on "+ Create Notification" as shown below.
Now select the notification type as "Email".
Now, add the parser email address and click on save.
Step - 9
Now, all your G99+ leads will go to your parser email address from now on. (Remember, the existing leads will not move, the new leads, received after the integration only, will start moving to the parser mailbox from G99+.)
For that, first, you need to submit the G99+ form present on your website for testing.
You can check that lead in your parser mailbox.
To check the emails, click on "Mailboxes" as shown below.
There, by clicking on "View Emails" you can check all the emails.
To check the email body or the extracted data, click on "Show".
The extracted data will be shown highlighted.
To check the extracted data only, click on "Output".
You will see the extracted data, as shown below.
Step - 10
Now go to your Zapier account and by creating a Zap between "Email Parser by Zapier" and your app (where you want to send the G99+ leads), will send all your leads to the app.
Step - 11
To create a Zap between "Email Parser by Zapier" and your app, click on " + Create Zap" as shown below.
Step - 12
Next, in the trigger search bar, search for "Email Parser By Zapier" and choose that option.
Step - 13
In the event section, choose "New Mailbox".
Now click on "Continue".
Step - 14
Now, you need to choose the mailbox (Parser email address) from where you want to send the leads to the other app.
Then test the trigger, the emails from the mailbox will start appearing.
Now again click on continue.
Step - 15
Search the app where you want to send the leads.
Then choose the app and add the event accordingly.
If your app is not listed there then choose the option "Webhook by Zapier" as shown below. There with the help of the "POST" event, you can send data to your app even if your app is not listed in Zapier.
Now, to proceed further, Click here to watch a video on sending data in Zapier to another app using Webhooks.
Step - 16
Now check the "Zaps" tab on the home page. The integration will show in green with the "ON" button as shown below.
If, instead of the "ON" button you are getting an "OFF" button then recheck the integration and fix it to make it "ON".
Refer to the video below for more information on creating the Zap.
Thank You!!
