Step by Step guide to create Facebook Business Manager and add existing page

Overview

For Growth99 to post as an external vendor and for you to manage your social posts through the Growth99+ portal, your Facebook user account must have a corresponding Meta Business Manager account and control of your business’s Facebook page. Meta Business Manager, recently renamed "Meta Business Portfolio," is a tool that helps advertisers integrate marketing efforts across their business and with external partners. Please follow the steps below to set this up:


Step 1: Create a Meta Business Manager Account (Business Portfolio)

1. Go to business.facebook.com in a desktop browser. You will also use this address to log into Meta Business Suite or Business Manager. If you already have access to Meta Business Suite and Business Manager, you can also click the dropdown menu located at the top of the left navigation bar. Then skip to Step 4.

2. Click Create an account.

3. Log into your personal Facebook account. If you don’t have an account, click Create an account to sign up for one.

4. Click Create an account.

5. Enter your business details.

      - Business portfolio name. It should match the public name of your business or organization since it will be visible across Meta. It can't contain special characters.

      - Your name.

      - Business email. Meta will use this email to contact you about your business. It won't be visible to your customers.

6. Click Submit or Create to create your portfolio. You’ll get an email asking to confirm your business email address.

Step 2: Add Your Existing Facebook Page to Meta Business Manager (Business Portfolio)

Now that you have a business manager account, we’ll need to add your Facebook business page to this account so that it can be managed. In order to complete the following steps, you must own the page you’re trying to add. If your page is also linked to an Instagram business account, you should repeat the steps, and also, add your Instagram business account to the business manager.

1. Click the Business Settings icon (gear icon) in the top right corner.

2. Under "Accounts" in the Business Settings menu, click "Pages".

3. Click the "Add" button, then select "Add a Page".

4. Enter the name or URL of your Facebook page and click "Add Page". If you are an admin of the page, it will be added to your Business Manager account immediately.
