To access the Cliffhanger feature:
Log in to your Growth99 dashboard
Navigate to the menu bar at the top of your screen
Click on "Marketing" to open the dropdown menu
Scroll to the bottom of the list and select "Cliffhange.r"
You'll see three main configuration options:
Self Assessment
Chatbot
Cliffhanger Configuration
The Self Assessment feature creates an interactive tool that allows prospects to select areas of concern and receive personalized treatment recommendations.
When setting up your self-assessment:
Character Selection:
Choose between Male and Female model options
Select from multiple avatar styles to match your brand aesthetic
Toggle between showing both models or hiding one gender option
Public Display Configuration:
Set a custom label that will appear publicly on your website
Configure which symptoms and body areas to display
Add custom symptoms using the "Add symptoms" buttons for different body regions (Face, Legs-Back, Stretch, Abdomen-Back, etc.)
Available Services: The right panel shows various treatment categories you can enable:
Face treatments
Legs-Back procedures
Stretch treatments
Abdomen-Back services
And more
Each service category allows you to add specific symptoms and customize the user experience.
The chatbot feature creates an AI-powered assistant to engage with website visitors and collect lead information.
Avatar and Branding:
Upload a custom avatar image (supports SVG, PNG, JPG, or GIF files up to 800x400px)
Choose from pre-designed avatar options
Set your bot's name
Configure bot privacy settings with a custom privacy link
Welcome Messages:
Initial Welcome Message: This appears when the chat first loads (e.g., "Hi!")
Extended Welcome Message: A more detailed greeting that appears before form submission (e.g., "Welcome to [Practice Name Website]! How can we help you?")
Form Title Message: Instructions for users (e.g., "Please fill out the form below to start")
Post-Submission Message: Thank you message after form completion (e.g., "It's [Assistant Name] and I'm your assistant here!")
Appointment Integration:
Enable appointment booking directly within the chat
Set a default clinic appointment booking URL
Configure the system to show available weeks (e.g., 52 weeks ahead)
Add long code phone numbers for SMS integration
Additional Settings:
FAQ Integration: Set up responses for common questions with fallback messages
Animation Options: Enable moving animations on the chatbot icon
Footer Branding: Choose whether to show "Powered by Growth99" attribution
Consent Options: Add consent checkboxes to forms when required
The preview panel on the right shows how your chatbot will appear to visitors, including the contact form fields (First Name, Last Name, Email, and Phone Number) and the Submit button.
The main Cliffhanger settings allow you to manage the overall features and layout of your lead generation tools.

Contact Form Setup:
Enable Growth99 lead-generating contact forms
Set public display labels (e.g., "Contact")

Choose which locations to show reviews from (e.g., "All Active Locations")

Enable the chatbot feature alongside other tools
Set public display labels (e.g., "Chatbot")
Customize how the chatbot appears and functions
Choose from four different layout options:
Right-aligned (Most Recommended): Features appear on the right side of the screen - ideal for most websites
Left-aligned: Features appear on the left side - good for certain design layouts
Right-aligned Fixed: Features stay in a fixed position on the right side
Floating layout: Features appear as floating elements that can be positioned flexibly
Custom CSS Options:
Add custom CSS code to personalize the appearance further
Modify colors, fonts, spacing, and other visual elements
Ensure the Cliffhanger tools match your website's design
For Self Assessment:
Choose models that represent your target demographic
Enable relevant service categories for your practice
Use clear, professional language in your symptom descriptions
For Chatbot:
Keep welcome messages friendly but concise
Ensure your avatar represents your brand professionally
Test the appointment booking integration thoroughly
For Layout:
The right-aligned layout works best for most websites
Test different layouts to see what converts best for your audience
Use custom CSS sparingly to maintain functionality
General Tips:
Always preview your changes before saving
Test all features on both desktop and mobile devices

Keep your messaging consistent across all Cliffhanger features
Remember to click "Save Changes" after configuring any section. You can also use "Reset All" if you need to start over with default settings.
