Growth99+ Chatbot And How To Customize It!

A chatbot is a programmed chat interface, it can be thought of as a digital assistant that guides the website visitors with their queries. Having a chatbot on the website not only adds value to the customer experience but reduces the need of answering redundant calls. The Growth99+ chatbot comes with a simple setup process and offers easily customizable options.


Your Growth99+ chatbot along with offering a source of new lead generation, and it also helps to increase client interaction with the option of adding FAQs and aids in online appointment booking.

Let us learn in a few steps, the Growth99+ chatbot feature and how to customize it.


STEP 1

The chatbot menu is available in the admin panel of the Growth99+ business account, click on the “Chatbot” option to open a drop-down menu.

Continuing with the “Chat Configuration” menu.



The chat configuration menu has 4 tabs, chatbot customization, Chatbot Template, Scrape Website, and Chat Questionnaire.

STEP 2
Under this step, we will discuss Chatbot Customization.


1. The first option available on the right side is to add the chatbot icon, you can select one icon/graphic from the available options, or add one image/icon/logo from your personal device by clicking on the "pencil" icon.




2. Enter the name you wish to give the chatbot in the field mentioned as "Bot Name". And if you wish to add any Bot policy URL from your website, add it on the adjacent field or leave it vacant.



3. Add the Welcome messages, or the first sentences/Greetings in the welcome message fields, the bot name, and the first welcome message will be the first sentence the bot will interact with the lead when they use the chatbot on the website. Then the form title message edit field will be there followed by the second welcome message will appear after the user submits the form.

                                    

To edit the above messages, got to the "Chat Customization" and refer the screenshot below.



   
4. The message entered inside the faq not found will be displayed to the lead when the bot has no answer for the question asked by the lead/chatbot user on the website. You can edit the email id or contact number in the message box according to your necessity and after editing, you need to save it by clicking on the "Save" button below.


The important field here is the "enable appointment" checkbox, click on this only when you are using the Growth99+ appointment feature and have completed the appointment-related settings, read here for Appointment with Growth99+ chatbot.



STEP 3
If you are using the Growth99+ tool for appointments, click on the checkbox to allow appointments from the chatbot as well.
On selecting the "enable appointment in bot" checkbox, other fields related to appointment will popup, let's check them.



The Growth99+ appointments can be of 2 types, the first one is the conventional in-person appointment that requires the patient to be physically present in the clinic. The second option is for the virtual appointment, this option can help for services of a consultation nature, the patient will be able to join a video call from the Growth99+ patient portal whose login details will be shared with them through email when they book an appointment of any type. The other field requires business hours when you are open for appointments.





The weeks filed are selected as 52 by default, this allows the appointments throughout the year.


The Long Code Phone Number is the official contact number.

Next, is how you want the chatbot icon on your website, rotating or static.



By default, it will be checked and the icon will be rotating.  If you want to make the chatbot icon static, not rotating, then you can uncheck the checkbox, it will stop rotating and become static and still.

          
The last field is "powered by". if you do not want to show "powered By Growth99" for example in the footer you can unselect the option.

STEP 4
In this step, we discuss the chatbot templates. The Growth99+ offers 4 chatbot templates to choose from for the website, the templates are available in the "Chatbot Templates" menu, click on it to open the templates page.



There is one template that is default selected as the website template which is available in the top left corner, to preview it click on the "Preview" option that you see below the chatbot code field to the right corner.
To make any other template as your default template, select the one you are interested in and click on "make default", without the need for any code changes, the selected template will reflect on your website.
