A chatbot will simulate human behavior and interact non-verbally with website visitors, to answer their queries and solve their doubts. While it displays near-human intelligence, a chatbot needs to be programmed by feeding it questions and relevant answers for it to be able to interact smartly with website visitors.
The Growth99+ application offers a feature in its “Chat Bot” menu that allows business account users to create custom questionnaires for their chatbot. (CLICK HERE to know how to customize the chatbot)
Let us now learn how to create a new questionnaire and add questions to it. For our discussion here, we use the example of adding an appointment booking URL and direct the chatbot users to that link when they ask questions related to the appointment. (This is helpful when using a third-party app for appointments other than the Growth99+ appointment feature)

STEP 1
Using your login credentials access the admin panel of your Growth99+ business account. Click on the ”Chat Configuration” in the drop-down menu of the “Chat Bot” feature.
STEP 2
The chat configuration menu opens to a page with 4 tabs, select the one titled “Chat Questionnaires”. If there is a questionnaire already present, you will find it mentioned here.
If you desire to add a new question missing in the list, or any questions from the "Unanswered" menu of the chatbot. Click on the blue pencil icon to edit the questionnaire and add a new question to the list.
On clicking the edit icon, you will be directed to a new page, click on "Add Question" to add the new question. (Check STEP 5)
STEP 3
If there are no preadded questionnaires/FAQs under the chat questionnaire tab, follow the below steps to create one new FAQ list.
Click on the blue “Create chat questionnaire” button that you will see on the right side, as shown in the below image.
STEP 4
You will be directed to a page that resembles the below image. Type a suitable title for your Questionnaire in the data field titled “Chat Questionnaire Name” and click on the blue “Save” button.
On saving, a new "Add Question" button will appear below; click on it to proceed with adding relevant questions and their answers. The below image offers more clarity for these steps.
STEP 5
When you click on the "Add Question" button, a question card gets displayed as seen in the below image. Enter the question and its relevant answer in the respective data fields and click on the blue "Save" button. Refer to the below image for a sample question and its appropriate answer.
