How To Add A New Category And Service?

The Growth99+ app offers patients the facility to book appointments for the services of their choice via booking links or via chatbot. For every booking that the patients do, they get a basic idea of the service they are opting for, which includes details like the duration, cost, and a short description of the service.

All services offered at a clinic are displayed in the business account of that clinic. Let us see the steps of adding a new service to an existing business account. Growth99+ has simplified the process of finding and adding services by making categories under which each service may be classified. For instance, the services of Dermal fillers and Botox may be classified under a common category of "injectables" So to add a service, we must first make a category suitable for the service.


Let us use the example of the service "Hormone Replacement Therapy", for which we need to create a new category called "Wellness".


STEP 1

After accessing the admin panel using your login credentials, click on the title and select the option of  "Categories".




STEP 2

On the right upper corner of the page, find a blue button titled "Service Category" and click on it.





STEP 3

You will be redirected to a page that looks like the image shown below. Add the category name that you want to and click on the "Save" button. In the below example, you will find that we have used the example of a new category called "Aesthetic Treatment".


Make sure the clinic field has the clinic name already displayed. If it is not added, then click on the clinic field and select the appropriate clinic name and save it.



Once we have a suitable category, we will proceed to create a new service.

STEP 4

To do so, click on the "Accounts & Settings" option and click on "Services". You will see a list of all the previously added services on the page. On the right upper corner is a blue button titled "+ Service"; click on it.



STEP 5

You will be directed to a page that looks like the one in the below image. Enter the name of the service and select the duration of the service from the drop-down.


The time duration for service is optional. You may choose whether to add it or not.



STEP 6

You may even fill in other data fields to add information like service cost, the website link for the service, and a short description of the service. Click on the categories field and select the category under which you want to add the service. In the below image, we have used the example of the Hormone Replacement Therapy service.


There is a check box "check this only if you are using our Growth99+ booking system and want to add the service to your booking section, otherwise, keep it unchecked.



Click on the save button and voila! You just completed adding a new service and a suitable category for it.
