Enable/Disable Email Templates

Now you can take control of your email communications with our new Enable/Disable Email Template functionality. This will help you in streamlining triggers, customizing templates, and managing your email campaigns with ease, all in one place.

Let's check out the steps!

STEP 1

Login to your G99+ account and click on the "Email Templates" menu under "Templates" module.

 


STEP 2

There you can see a column named "Active", and a slider is there for each and every email template. 

 

STEP 3

If you want to deactivate any email template, click on the slider present there; as soon as you click on it if it is not added to any trigger, you will see a success message, and the email template will move to the last page below all active triggers.

 


In the below screenshot, you can see, we have disabled the "Halloween – October 31" email template and it moved to the 6th page, which means the last page where all the active triggers end.


You can reactivate it according to your requirement any time later.

STEP 4

Now if you try to deactivate any email template that is linked to any trigger, you will get an error message like below with the trigger name, and you first need to remove the email template from the linked trigger and then disable the template. In the below image, we can see that the email template is linked with two triggers, "Welcome email to new users" and "Welcome email to new users - Editable". So fist we need to remove the email template from that two triggers to disable it.
